Olivia and Cohen engage in a high-stakes face-off, racing against time to save London from annihilation. With just an axe and a hairpin, they succeed. Cohen is saved by his bulletproof vest, Ian goes into surgery and Olivia joins Cohen’s team as they close in on Trevor’s hotel. FDR brings American forces to DEFCON One and sends the authorization code, just one final step to Armageddon. In London, the enemy chooses death over capture. Our heroes are forced to move in. A fierce firefight begins as the countdown to the destruction of London is just seconds away.

Nina and Emil arrive in Berlin. Unable to escape, they now may face the same fate as London. Hans Mere and Trevor’s men disappear into the London Underground. Cohen, Ian, and Olivia are right behind them. They all converge on a platform, and the bullets fly. Ian takes a bullet meant for Olivia, and Cohen takes a three shot burst to the chest and goes down. Hans Mere and Trevor’s men escape into tunnels under London.

Hitler is unprepared for a nuclear war with the Allies. Wolfgang sends the kill code to disarm the bomb in London. However, Trevor has other plans. He is able to jam the signal as the weapon continues to count down. Jefferson reaches his launch position and readies two nuclear cruise missiles. Major Price enters enemy airspace. His weapons will airburst over the Brandenburg Gate.

Victoria’s trip to Paris is leaving dead Germans in its wake, and now she is stuck on a train, as the German noose around her tightens. Eric's arrival puts an end to Klaus' latest attempt to escape. The moment he discovers Victoria may have been located. Klause forces Eric to let him join the mission. He has a score to settle. Churchill arrives at Number 10 Downing Street, unaware that just a few blocks away, the timer for the nuclear destruction of the capital of Great Britain starts counting down. In 13 hours, London will burn.

Hans Meer makes contact with a German agent, and he lies low. Cohen, Ian, and Olivia scour London looking for him. With a nuke in play, Cmdr. Jefferson and Maj. Price become the Allies’ retaliatory nuclear strike, one by sea and the other by air. If London is destroyed, Berlin and three other German cities will cease to exist seven minutes later. Captain Meer, with the help of a Nazi spy, makes his move to recover the bomb. Klaus comes too, in a German field hospital, awaking to a new world more deadly than his worst nightmares. The guards at his door, are there to protect him until Eric arrives to bring him back to Berlin, again trapping him in the Nazi war machine, something he will never allow again. He is ample to slip away. He must find Victoria and get the answers to all the questions he had swirling in his head, then find the Americans and surrender.

Nina is able to get her son and attempt to escape, but just steps away from freedom, they are discovered. Now she and Emil are on their way to Berlin. Hitler learns the unvarnished truth of the fall of the Third Reich in the base timeline. Hitler vows never to repeat the same mistakes, but first, he has traitors that need to be dealt with. Balasz arrives in Washington, where he and FDR make decisions that will change America forever.  Victoria begins her dangerous journey to Paris, with the new SS hot on her trail.  Cohen, Olivia, and Ian must find the sole survivor of the German unit sent to kill Churchill. Hans Mere becomes the most wanted man in the United Kingdom; find him, and maybe he will lead them to the nuke.

The past and future collide when Nazi scientists Wolfgang and his fraternal twin, Klaus von Steiger, test their wonder weapon for the first time. In a twisted perversion of Tesla’s technology, they will use the directed energy to shoot down Allied bombers before they can reach the Fatherland. Wolfgang is a committed follower of Hitler and a proud member of the SS; Klaus has no love for the Third Reich, but does love Victoria, the Jewish scientist forced to work in his lab. Klaus knows if they want to survive the war, they had better just keep following orders. What he doesn’t know is that Victoria is a saboteur and a deadly member of the French Resistance, sent to destroy the weapon and kill all those who could rebuild it. When Wolfgang throws the switch, Victoria’s plan begins a chain reaction of unintended consequences. Inside the control room, Wolfgang stands in front of the control console. In, the center of the equipment is a new invention of the day. A small black and white RCA picture tube, it glows brightly as it starts receiving television signals of a newscast from the future. The slick graphics detail the exact time, date and place of the opening on the other side of the rift over 70 years into the future. Wolfgang doesn’t know how it happened or what caused it, but he is sure of one thing. With his machine destroyed, Klaus and he would soon be in front of a firing squad, but Wolfgang would turn this disaster into triumph. All he needs is the film from the test plane’s gun camera, and Klaus will have that soon. Wolfgang will have the proof that he is a master of time itself

Wolfgang’s triumph, however, will be short-lived, as a mortar round fired by the French Resistance makes a direct hit on the control room. Wolfgang disappears into a ball of flame and debris, presumed dead in the explosion. But Klaus survives, having in his possession the only proof of what truly happened, a secret Klaus keeps until he is captured by the Allies at the end of the war. Under the highest security, he finds himself in a room with President Truman, Winston Churchill, and General Eisenhower showing the footage from the future shot by the gun camera. Faced with irrefutable evidence of what lies ahead, they create Operation Guardian. Its existence becomes the greatest secret of the Cold War. The mission is clear: stop anyone from going through the rift, and if that fails, be prepared to follow the enemy into the past.

Major John Price and Commander Steven Jefferson are a different matter entirely. For Price, it was simple; he was running away from another shattered marriage on the way to divorce court. He just wanted to melt into the mission, where it really didn’t matter. For Jefferson, it was tragic. He and his attack submarine were not a part of the plan. He and his crew are unprepared for the world that is outside their pressure hull.

The stage is set, and our adventure will play out across the globe. Good will always triumph over evil in the end. There can be no other satisfactory outcome for a show like ours. But the path to that victory is going to be a brutal struggle. As, the fortunes of war change, so does the battlefield; victory and defeat hang in the balance. As the war comes to the streets of America, a nation’s mettle is tested as the Allies push the Germans out of the Atlantic. One bold move after the other moves the war forward, invasions and deceptions, assassination and espionage change everything. One of our heroes who we were convinced was one of the good guys is in fact a traitor codenamed Scepter, selling out our heroes for Nazi gold!

Move and counter move propels our story from North Africa to Sicily and up the Italian boot to the liberation of Rome, and finally the invasion of France. Then the march toward Berlin will culminate in the final countdown. As the doomsday clock begins, Hitler, Wolfgang, Cohen, Victoria, Klaus, Nina, and the traitor Scepter are in the same room in Switzerland. Guns are drawn and pointed at the Führer’s head as he holds his finger on a deadman switch, willing to set the world on fire with a Thermo-nuclear match!
